Batch Renamer

Drop a messy folder of tracks and rename them all from their tags, artist, title, even auto‑detected key and BPM. Pick a template, download them tidy in a zip. Runs entirely in your browser.

Drop your audio files here
or click to browse · MP3, FLAC, M4A, WAV · select as many as you like

100% local. Tags are read, key/BPM analysed, and files re‑zipped entirely on your device, nothing is uploaded or used to train anything. The same principle behind Xport Studio.

How to batch rename audio files

  1. Drop in your audio files (as many as you like).
  2. The tool reads each file's tags: artist, title, and album.
  3. Set a naming template with tokens like {artist} - {title} [{key} {bpm}]. Optionally click Detect key + BPM to fill those in.
  4. Click Download renamed (.zip) to get them all tidy in one zip.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded?

No. Tags are read and the files are zipped entirely on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.

Can it rename by musical key and BPM?

Yes. Click Detect key + BPM, then use the {key} and {bpm} tokens in your template. Detection runs locally with essentia.

Does it change the audio itself?

No, only the filenames. The original audio is preserved untouched inside the zip.

Which formats can it read?

MP3, FLAC, M4A, WAV, OGG, and AAC. It is free with no sign-up.
